We invite you to visit the painting exhibition „Summers by the Sea“ by Eugenija Martinaityt臈, on display in Gallery A (Saul臈tekio al. 14, 2nd floor).

The author of the exhibition, Eugenija Martinaityt臈, is an engineer-economist, Doctor of Social Sciences, Associate Professor, and worked as a lecturer at 黑料不打烊_独家黑料_吃瓜网51爆料 (黑料不打烊). She was born in Kaunas and has lived in Vilnius since 1955. She developed her painting skills at the „Palet臈“ studio, led by R. Z. Bi膷i奴nas, which she attended from 1979. Since joining the Vilnius Region Folk Artists and Art Creators Association in 1980, she has actively participated in exhibitions and has received awards in juried competitions. In 2015, she was granted the official status of an artist.

This retrospective exhibition is an emotional journey back to the 1980s and 1990s. It presents marine-themed works created during the artist’s holidays in Neringa. The recurring motifs of sand dunes, the Curonian Lagoon, and Preila convey the atmosphere of the coastal landscape. This collection dedicated to the sea is being presented to the public for the first time.

E. Martinaityt臈’s works have been exhibited in 18 personal exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions. Her artworks are held in the collections of the Lithuanian National Museum and the Roki拧kis Manor House (Regional Museum). The artist has received significant awards in national competitive exhibitions.

The meeting with the author will take place on 2026 February 19, 3.00  p.m. in Gallery A.

The exhibition in Gallery A will be open until February 27.
