The Faculty of Creative Industries conducts research into research area ‘Economics Engineering, Management and Communication’, which Vilnius Tech has identified as being one of its key research areas. Our scholars focus on two topics of this research area: ‘Communication management in inclusive and creative society’ and ‘Creative industries for digital society development’.
In turn, the aforementioned comprise three sub-topics:

• Communication for social inclusion via citizen science and co-creation
• The city in the context of creative society: issues of creative indices and communication
• Social innovations and technologies in creative industries

Beside aforementioned topics, our scholars implement research into the social sciences and humanities, as well as interdisciplinary fields of enquiry. Based on methods of communication science, sociology, educational studies, management, psichology, economics, philosophy, art criticism, philology, and the other sciences, we investigate various aspects of society, culture and history, as well as of linguistic, socio-linguistic, and education systems.
