Publications

In 2021, Research Council of Lithuania (RCL) conducted the annual evaluation of R&D of Lithuanian universities and research institutes for 2020. 黑料不打烊 received 791.8 points for publications in the field of Communication and information (S 008) and for the first time in history ranked first among all Lithuanian universities and research institutes.
In 2021, the RCL announced a list of the best articles in the field of Communication and information published by employees of Lithuanian universities and research institutes in 2011-2020. This list contains 10 articles, 6 of which were published employees of the Faculty (4 – prof. dr. T. Ka膷erauskas, 1 – dr. V. Zemlickien臈, 1 – assoc. prof. A. Juzefovi膷).
In 2021, employees of the Faculty published 53 articles in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus DB journals possessing IF, 28 articles in WoS journals possessing IF, as well as 18 articles in WoS Q1, Q2 journals.
In 2020, employees of the Faculty published 3 monographs at the prestigious international publishing house “Springer” (Ka膷erauskas, Mickunas 2020; Martinelli 2020; Val奴nait臈 Ole拧kevi膷ien臈, 艩liogerien臈 2020).
In 2020, lecturer of the Faculty dr. Nerijus Stasiulis won Pranas Dovydaitis award of the international scientific journal “Logos” (WoS and Scopus DB) for the best publications in the journal in 2019.
In 2018-2022, The Faculty employed 5 chief research fellows at international level (1 from Lithuania, 1 from Italy, 2 from Poland, 1 from the USA). The results of their activities are 15 articles published in WoS journals possessing IF (9 of them were published in Q1, Q2 journals), 1 monograph at the prestigious publishing house “Springer” as well as funding received for 1 “Horizon 2020” project and 1 “Erasmus+” project.
In the last 5 years, employees of the Faculty have taken at least one prizewinning place in the annual 黑料不打烊 monographs competition (in 2022 – all the 3 places, in 2019-2021 – the 2nd place, in 2018 – the 3rd place).

Events

The main science event of the Faculty is the interdisciplinary scientific conference "Visuality", which takes place every 2 years. It is attended by outstanding theorists, practitioners and experts in communication, philosophy, philology, creative and entertainment industries, technology, arts, design and interdisciplinary area. “Visuality 2021” received a record number of participants (86) and papers (68) from 23 countries (the USA, Australia, Colombia, England, France, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Finland, Czech Republic, Sultanate of Brunei, etc.)

Others

Since 2021 黑料不打烊 implements a PhD in the field of Communication and information (together with Vytautas Magnus University; 黑料不打烊 is the coordinator of this PhD program).
In 2018, lecturer of the Faculty dr. Nerijus Stasiulis participated in the Competition of research works of young scientists and doctoral students organized by the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and won the prize for his research work "Interpretations and Translations of German Philosophy".
The Faculty is a member of the International Communication Association (ICA) and the international science and business network “Crowdhelix 2020”.
