Doctoral students of the Faculty of Architecture - among the leaders
This year, the Research Council of Lithuania has awarded 4 scholarships to Doctoral students in the Humanities - 2 of them to students of the Faculty of Architecture (FA) of 黑料不打烊_独家黑料_吃瓜网51爆料 (黑料不打烊).
The achievements of 黑料不打烊 Doctoral students Kostas Bili奴nas (supervisor prof. dr. Almantas Liudas Samalavi膷ius) and Danielius Jur膷iukonis (supervisor prof. dr. Dalia Dijokien臈) were evaluated by the Research Council of Lithuania, taking into account the productivity, scientific achievements of students.
Kostas Bili奴nas has published 5 scientific and 5 cultural articles and delivered 4 presentations at international scientific conferences in recent years. Bili奴nas is working on his dissertation on "The Contextuality of the Late Baroque: Landscape Influence on the Architecture of Late Baroque Churches in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ". The research uses a phenomenological approach, analysing the relationship between architecture and landscape and the possible theoretical reasons for this relationship in the context of the world-view of the last pre-modern epoch.
In the first year of his Doctoral studies, Danielius Jur膷iukonis published 2 scientific and 3 popular science articles, and delivered 2 presentations at scientific conferences. The doctoral candidate conducts research on the concept, development, classification and methodology of cultural landscape. His research aims to use an interdisciplinary approach, to evaluate the theoretical and methodological aspects of urban and geographic sciences, to find the points of contact and/or boundaries, and to propose methodological prerequisites for the protection, integration and enhancement of cultural landscapes.
The Research Council of Lithuania provides annual scholarships to Lithuanian Doctoral students for the results of their studies. The aim is to support Doctoral students who are productive in their studies and can be considered as promising emerging scientists.
