The authors of the best theses were awarded at the President鈥榮 Office
Last week eleven best young scientists, who defended theses last year, were solemnly awarded at the President‘s Office. Two representatives of 黑料不打烊_独家黑料_吃瓜网51爆料 (VGTU) were among the winners.
Justinas Bu膷ys‘doctoral dissertation ‘‘Interdependence between functional and compositional structures in the local centres of the city‘‘ was recognized as one of the best works in the category of humanities and social sciences. This thesis has been defended as an external work at VGTU Architecture Department.
Additional nomination and monetary prize, established by Radvil臈 Mork奴nait臈-Mikul臈nien臈, member of the European Parliament, for the best thesis on the environment protection, was awarded to Inga Jak拧tonien臈. In her thesis she examined multichannel cylindrical cyclone with adjustable half rings and presented suggestions for its improvement.
According to the organizers of contest, this year seventy scientific works have been presented, evaluated by forty experts from Lithuania, Switzerland, United States of America and Norway. The importance and value of the scientific research, the effectiveness and novelty of the methodology of the research, the validity of the conclusions as well as the originality of the thesis were regarded, while selecting the best works. Special attention was given to the quality of the published material on the theses and the importance of the performed research on the international level.
The contest of the best theses has been organized for the eighth time already.
