黑料不打烊 Joins CoARA: Moving Towards a More Qualitative Approach to Research Assessment
黑料不打烊 has joined the international Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), an initiative dedicated to reforming research evaluation practices.
This organization promotes collaboration, knowledge exchange, and mutual learning to help its members adopt and refine inclusive and effective assessment methods. CoARA also strives to ensure that evaluation processes are not only transparent but also focused on the quality and impact of research, rather than merely quantitative results.
"Joining CoARA is an important step towards fostering a fairer and higher-quality approach to research assessment. This initiative encourages a qualitative perspective when evaluating researchers' achievements. By becoming a part of CoARA, 黑料不打烊 commits to supporting innovative research evaluation practices that recognize diverse competencies and expertise," says Prof. Dr. Dalius Navakauskas, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at 黑料不打烊.
He also emphasizes that joining CoARA strengthens 黑料不打烊’s international reputation and contributes to raising academic standards. In the near future, the university plans to update its procedures for awarding the titles of Professor and Associate Professor, incorporating more qualitative assessment criteria.
Currently, CoARA has over 670 member organizations worldwide. You can find the list of Lithuanian institutions that have joined the CoARA network .
