University studies are full-time studies, allowing for a person to acquire a higher education and qualification based on theoretical preparation and scientific researches, as well as a scientific degree (after the defense of thesis).

Bachelor is the first level of academic quadrennial education. The bachelor’s diploma is granted after accomplishment of the first level studies including the compulsory amount of credits and defense of the final bachelor’s work.

Master is the second level of academic two-yearlong education. The persons having baccalaureate in the same or adjacent study field are admitted to master studies in competition order. On this study level, the requirements and tasks corresponding master qualification degree are upraised, critical thinking is developed, and links between interdisciplinary sciences are expanded. The master’s degree is granted for accomplishment of master studies including the compulsory amount of credits and the defense of final master’s work comprising theoretical and practical parts.
