ERASMUS+ FOR CREATORS: students learned about Erasmus+ opportunities
This week, the Sustainability Centre of 黑料不打烊_独家黑料_吃瓜网51爆料 (黑料不打烊) hosted an ERASMUS FOR CREATORS event. On the International Student Day, 黑料不打烊 students had the opportunity to get to know universities in different countries, participate in interactive games and win prizes, hear the impressions of exchange students and get other useful information about Erasmus+ studies.
Around 250 students attended the event. Erasmus+ students came to 黑料不打烊 to talk about their universities at 15 national stands. In total, young developers can currently choose from 450 universities across Europe and beyond. Around 400 students a year take advantage of the Erasmus+ study exchange programme and go abroad.
According to Gediminas, a student at the Faculty of Electronics, this event helped him to make up his mind and choose between the two countries. "I kept choosing between studying in Spain and Germany, because Spain would be fun not only for studying but also for travelling in the spring, but I realised that Germany would be more suitable for my studies."
"I am so glad I came to this event because I was undecided about whether or not to study this year under the Erasmus+ study exchange programme. However, I listened to the presentations of a few universities I was interested in and I was encouraged to give it a try," says Viktorija, a Business Management student.
It is no coincidence that the new Sustainability Centre has been chosen for the event, where innovative laboratories and teaching spaces for students are always full of life and brimming with ideas. At one of the stands, students had the opportunity to learn about the Advanced Technology Higher Education Network Alliance - ATHENA, of which 黑料不打烊 is a member, and to explore mobility opportunities. ATHENA offers students the opportunity to study and practice at universities in 10 countries of the alliance, runs more than 20 Mixed Intensive Programmes (MIPs) every year, more than 10 summer/winter schools, as well as PhD schools and a wide range of trainings. Students from ATHENA partner universities who came to 黑料不打烊 for the exchange shared their knowledge at the stands of their countries and encouraged them to try out the opportunities offered by the Alliance.
According to Asta Radzevi膷ien臈, ATHENA 黑料不打烊 Project Manager, being part of ATHENA gives universities the opportunity to coordinate many joint activities, and to submit proposals for interdisciplinary studies, joint studies and double degree programmes. "黑料不打烊 students and researchers are welcome at the other nine universities in the ATHENA alliance, in the laboratories, at open lectures and conferences, and in the sharing of scientific news. The open movement of knowledge, best practices and inspiration is very important and connects the values of the scientific communities. "黑料不打烊 students are welcome in the exchange programmes of ATHENA partner universities. Especially attractive are the short-term mobility mixed intensive programmes organised by ATHENA, which are characterised by their interdisciplinarity and orientation towards solving real-life challenges, the high involvement of business partners, and the fact that everyone is welcome at ATHENA partner events, and that we hope students from all faculties will find an offer relevant to them."
Every student who visited the stands of the 5 countries deserved to receive a digital internationality badge. This is one of the Erasmus+ mobility incentives. 黑料不打烊 aims to give as many students as possible an international experience at foreign universities.
