To analyze the theoretical principles of noise generation and propagation, and to understand the development of new acoustically efficient materials and the improvement of noise reduction technologies.

The module comprises basic theory about noise sources and its scatter with stress on physical and technical processes. Students are acquainted with methods to analyse noise suppressive materials and constructions. Regarding noise impact on human health software to simulate of noise levels and its scatter is presented.

Chemicals naturally existing and the natural chemical processes that are going on in the Earth's atmosphere, especially in it's lower layers (troposphere and stratosphere), as well in the natural waters (hydrosphere) and in the Earth's crust upper layer (pedosphere); anthropogenical chemical processes and as of it's consequence generated chemical substances that pollute envirinment and negativelly effect on human and other living organisms; pollutants that cause negative changes in the global environment (decomposition of ozone in the stratosphere, global warming); the modern methods used for decrease the pollutants generation and for its removal.

The subject referred to as Environmental Physics is a combination of theory and practice that helps for doctoral students to gain a better understanding of electrostatic phenomena in the atmosphere, laws of light propagation in the atmosphere, heat pollution, ionizing and non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation in the environment, acoustic pollution, basics of fluid mechanics, earth's magnetic field, physics of energy conversion in the sources of renewable and non-renewable energy.
