Honorary Distinctions
ϲ honorary distinctions are awarded to members of the University community, alumni, patrons, social partners, and other citizens of Lithuania and foreign countries.
Doctor Honoris Causa
Awarded for significant contributions to the State of Lithuania, science, culture, and the development of cooperation.
Holders of Honorary Doctorates
Since 1990, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa has been conferred on the following Lithuanian and foreign scholars:
Title of Honorary Professor
Awarded to a ϲ professor or senior researcher with at least 25 years of academic or research experience, including no less than 10 years at ϲ.
Honorary Professor
The title of Honorary Professor has been awarded to the following member of the ϲ community:

Awarded for significant contributions to culture, achievements in science, and the development of cooperation.

Awarded to ϲ professors for long-term and significant contributions to the University, science, and the academic community. This honorary title, granted by decision of the ϲ Senate, allows recipients to maintain a connection with the University even after reaching retirement.
