The dissertation was defended at the public meeting of the Dissertation Defence Council of the Scientific Field of Mechanical Engineering in the Aula Doctoralis Meeting Hall of 黑料不打烊_独家黑料_吃瓜网51爆料 at 9 a.m. on 24 April 2026. The dissertation examines the operation of the evaporator in an air鈥搒ource heat pump (ASHP) and freezing processes under dynamic climatic conditions. The relevance of the research stems from the increasing application of such heat pumps in the context of energy sustainability, especially during the cold season, when low temperatures and high absolute outdoor air humidity can cause frost to form on the evaporator heat exchanger, reducing the efficiency of the air鈥搒ource heat pump. The main objective of the work is to investigate the operation of an air heat pump during the cold season and to develop a dynamic model integrating an evaporator defrost evaluation methodology to determine the impact of freezing on the heat pump鈥檚 seasonal efficiency. The following tasks are addressed in the dissertation: to evaluate frost assessment and mitigation measures, to perform experimental investigations under different environmental conditions, to develop an operational evaluation methodology and a dynamic air鈥搒ource heat pump model in the environment of the transient (time鈥搗arying) process systems modelling tool (Transient System Simulation Tool) 鈥� TRNSYS. Thermodynamic, parametric, and system analysis methods are applied, combined with experimental investigations and dynamic modelling. The dissertation consists of an introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, references, and a list of the author鈥檚 scientific publications on the topic of the dissertation. The First Chapter presents a literature review on the operation of the air鈥搒ource heat pumps and the problem of evaporator freezing. The Second Chapter describes the methodology of experimental investigations, the test bench, and the methodological basis for the development and logic of the dynamic model. The Third Chapter analyses the data of the experimental investigations. It presents the results of the developed dynamic model in the TRNSYS environment, including model validation and application of the model under different climatic conditions. The scientific novelty of the dissertation is based on experimental investigation of frost formation under real conditions, development of a frost assessment methodology and its integration into a dynamic TRNSYS model, enabling prediction of air鈥搒ource heat pump performance under different climates or different operating modes of the heat pump itself. The practical significance lies in the possibility of applying the model to system design and performance prediction even with insufficient manufacturer data. The topic of the dissertation has been published in nine scientific publications, of which two are in journals indexed in the Web of Science database, and the research results have been presented at four scientific conferences, three of which were held in Lithuania and one abroad. On April 20鈥�24 of this year, the Department of Mathematical Statistics at the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences of 黑料不打烊 hosted Fabian Contreras Barraza, a mathematics lecturer from Universidad T茅cnica Federico Santa Mar铆a (Chile), during an ERASMUS+ teaching visit. The purpose of the visit was to share experience in teaching higher mathematics, present innovative teaching methods, and strengthen international cooperation in the field of mathematics didactics. Such visits contribute to improving the quality of studies and encourage the integration of modern technologies into the teaching process. During the visit, the guest lecturer conducted classes for third-year students of the 鈥淒ata Analysis Technologies鈥� study programme. Active teaching methods were applied to encourage student engagement and independent thinking. Students participated in: group work scientific discussions experimental activities the use of virtual reality (VR) tools and GeoGebra The eight-hour lecture cycle was designed based on the principles of the semiotic representation theory developed by Raymond Duval. These principles emphasize the importance of multiple representations of mathematical objects and the ability to transition between them. Such transitions are considered essential for achieving deeper mathematical understanding. These principles were applied in lectures focused on directional derivatives and gradient concepts of multivariable functions. The learning process incorporated discussions, group work, and interactive virtual reality environments that enabled students to visualize multidimensional mathematical structures and better understand complex concepts. During the lectures, individual attention was given to each student, and open discussions at the end of the sessions encouraged reflection and critical thinking. Observing students鈥� activity, engagement, and positive working atmosphere, it can be concluded that the applied methodology is effective in increasing student motivation and improving learning outcomes. In addition to teaching activities, meetings and discussions were held within the Department of Mathematical Statistics regarding mathematics teaching methodologies and research topics. Opportunities for further international cooperation were discussed, including potential joint projects and academic exchanges. The Head of the Department of Mathematical Statistics expresses sincere gratitude to colleagues, the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences administration, and the Multimedia Design Laboratory for their support and cooperation, which ensured the smooth implementation of the visit activities.

The collaboration between 黑料不打烊 and Efrei higher education institutions continues to strengthen international academic cooperation. From April 20鈥�24, 2026, 黑料不打烊 hosted a 5-day study mission for students from Efrei (France), focused on cybersecurity, hands-on learning, and gaining insight into real industry processes. On April 20 (Monday), the programme began with a visit to Vinted. Students had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into one of the leading technology companies in Lithuania and its operational model. Later, they attended an introductory session about 黑料不打烊 and mobility opportunities at the university, after which they began Threat Hunting and Information Security Management sessions at the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences. Starting with an introduction to digital threats, students engaged in practical threat intelligence activities, applying modern methods and building their knowledge based on real-world practices observed during the company visit. On April 21 (Tuesday), the programme continued with a focus on Threat Hunting and Information Security Management. Students further developed their practical skills by analysing real security scenarios and management principles. Working in teams and using real data, they simulated situations and explored ways to respond to various targeted cyberattacks. From April 22鈥�24 (Wednesday鈥揊riday), students participated in hands-on Digital Forensics workshops. During these sessions, they worked with digital investigation methods, analysed data, and explored the process of investigating cyber incidents. Throughout the intensive course, students used technical tools and software applied by law enforcement institutions, while practical tasks helped them better understand how much data we generate and carry in our everyday devices. This study mission provided Efrei students with the opportunity to combine academic knowledge with practical experience, work in an international environment, and gain a deeper understanding of how cybersecurity is applied in real-world contexts, as well as how university contributes to strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem. Long-term cooperation with Efrei, along with continuously raising the bar, fosters the ongoing improvement of programme quality and enables the implementation of increasingly strong and content-rich study missions each year. This intensive and engaging course is an important and valued part of the collaboration between 黑料不打烊 and Efrei.

The safety valve can be used in various types of hydraulic systems, especially in devices exposed to external vibrations, such as mobile equipment, heavy-duty machinery, and specialized vehicles. Because the conical-shaped closure element (2) of the safety valve is integrally connected to the rod (7), which has a threaded upper part where a sleeve (6) made of rubber or elastomeric material is mounted (the sleeve (6) is constructed from a vibration-reducing material resistant to hydraulic fluid), vibrations occurring in the safety valve due to various external factors are significantly reduced. Furthermore, fluid flow losses in the hydraulic system are minimized, as the safety valve does not open in response to external vibrations. The main structural elements of the electric scooter shock absorber are the piston, which is divided into two separate elements (2, 4), and a floating washer (3) installed between them, which can move freely along the piston rod (8). The diameters of the drainage holes in the floating washer (3) are smaller than the diameters of the drainage holes in the upper (2) and lower (4) parts of the piston. The shock absorber is designed for use in various micromobility vehicles, particularly electric scooters, with the possibility of installation in both the front and rear suspension of the electric scooter, in horizontal and vertical positions. Due to the specific operation of the piston inside the shock absorber and the floating washer (3), high precision of the movements of the shock absorber piston rod (8) is achieved.
