This thesis addresses the problem of filament 3D printing - "spaghetti" type errors. During the work, an automated system was created that can detect this type of error and automatically stop the printing process to avoid losses. 4 existing systems were analyzed: "Obico", "SimplyPrint", "PrintGuard" and "PiNozCam", as well as 3 AI object recognition models were reviewed and in order to increase the accuracy of the system, 2 AI models were used in the designed system: RF-DETR and YOLO26. A stand for a "Logitech C270" camera and LED modules was designed, which ensures good illumination of the printed object and the quality of the received video frames. The electrical block diagram, AI model architectures, and the main code blocks responsible for the operation of AI models were depicted and explained. It is shown how the database was collected and what is the accuracy of the trained AI models, occupational safety requirements are compiled and presented, and economic indicator calculations are performed. This final bachelor鈥檚 thesis presents an alternative solution for proactive maintenance of residential solar panels. By combining natural language processing and computer vision, it offers a competitive edge over existing market solutions. With cost efficiency prioritized, the smart trigger system conserves expensive resources. Component selection was optimized for edge computation, reliability, and market analysis. The system comprises a weatherproof, custom 3D enclosure printed with Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate; a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8 GB of RAM serving as the microcomputer; an Active Cooler for thermal management in outdoor settings; a Camera Module 3 as the visual sensor for the computer vision model; an AM2302/DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor for regional temperature and humidity metrics; and a power supply serving as the main power source. Mechanical and analytical calculations confirmed structural feasibility. The final system is estimated to weigh 290 g. The general dimensions of the system are 179 mm x 56 mm x 133 mm. An abstracted algorithmic flow and an AI architecture diagram were also created. Economic analysis revealed a bill of materials of 216 EUR, a direct variable manufacturing cost of 301 EUR, annual fixed costs of 6000 EUR, a commercial break-even point of 40.3 units, and a payback point of 5.25 years. With an ROI of 19.05%, these economic indicators confirm the commercial viability of this highly efficient modern concept for solar panel maintenance and defect detection.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrin臈jamas pluo拧tinio lazerio taikymas ner奴dijan膷iojo plieno (AISI 304) pavir拧iaus apdirbimui bei vertinamas susidar臋s pavir拧iaus 拧iurk拧tumas. Tyrime remiamasi galvanoskenerio ir profilometro technologijomis, siekiant nustatyti, kaip skirtingi lazerinio apdirbimo parametrai, tokie kaip galia, skenavimo greitis, impuls懦 trukm臈 ir linij懦 tarpas, lemia pavir拧iaus mikrostrukt奴r膮 ir 拧iurk拧tumo parametrus Ra bei Rz. Thesis abstract (EN)
This master鈥檚 thesis investigates the application of a fiber laser for the surface processing of stainless steel (AISI 304) and evaluates the resulting surface roughness. The study is based on galvanoscanner and profilometer technologies to determine how different laser processing parameters, such as laser power, scanning speed, pulse duration, and hatch spacing, influence the surface microstructure and the roughness parameters Ra and Rz. The theoretical part of the thesis includes an analysis of scientific literature, a comparison between CO鈧 and fiber laser technologies, and a discussion of surface quality measurement methods. In the practical part, experiments were carried out using different processing modes, followed by ANOVA analysis. The results showed that an optimized combination of laser parameters allows the achievement of minimal surface roughness values that meet specific industrial requirements. The study also revealed that using the same laser processing parameters repeatedly produces stable and repeatable surface roughness results, as very similar Ra and Rz values were obtained during repeated experiments. This indicates that certain parameter combinations operate reliably and help maintain consistent surface quality. These findings suggest the possibility of developing a parameter database in which appropriate laser processing parameter files could be automatically selected according to the desired surface roughness. In the future, such an approach could be applied to automated mechatronic laser processing systems, where the system itself would select the required settings and ensure more precise reproduction of the target surface quality. Thesis scope: 72 pages.

Thesis abstract (EN)
The thesis presents the design process of a mechatronic system intended for the interactive presentation of architectural models. The analytical part describes analogous solutions for the demonstration and movement of architectural models. The selected technical solution is justified, and the structural and electronic components of the system are described. The designed system consists of lifting and rotating mechanisms as well as a lighting system. The lifting system uses a lead screw drive, linear guideways, and LM8UU linear bearings, while the rotating mechanism employs a friction drive with a driving wheel and support wheels. The structure incorporates aluminum tubular rods, PET-G holders, and a plywood moving platform. An Arduino Mega microcontroller, TB6600 stepper motor driver, ESP32 module, and a 24 V LED lighting system were selected for system control. Structural calculations and static analysis were carried out in the thesis, including the evaluation of equivalent von Mises stresses and structural deformations. Based on the obtained results, it was determined that the designed system satisfies the required strength and stiffness criteria. The thesis also presents the kinematic and electrical block diagrams of the system, as well as the control algorithm. In addition, an economic analysis and evaluation of design and manufacturing costs were performed. The thesis consists of 109 pages of text excluding appendices, 44 figures, 13 tables, 14 bibliographic sources, and appendices. The graphical part includes a general assembly drawing (A1), a device assembly drawing (A1), an operation algorithm (A2), a kinematic diagram (A3), an electrical block diagram (A3), working drawings of two selected parts (2脳A3), and economic indicators (A2).
