Mission of the Sustainability Hub

To educate, inspire, and engage all members of the university in developing sustainable solutions within the university and in Lithuania.
Objective of the Sustainability Hub

To strengthen the sustainability competences of the academic and professional community, unite 黑料不打烊 units around a shared sustainability vision, and foster a responsible culture focused on the environment, society, and the region.
Activities of the Sustainability Hub

The activities of the Sustainability Hub include research, education, and the implementation of practical projects in collaboration with the university, industry partners, and public authorities. The Hub aims to embed sustainability principles across organisations and areas of activity and to contribute to long-term societal and environmental well-being.

To encourage the university community and its partners to contribute to the development of a sustainability culture and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
To organise events related to strengthening sustainability culture at the university.
To provide recommendations and relevant information on energy efficiency, resource conservation, climate resilience, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to academic, administrative, and other relevant units.
To propose solutions for achieving the University鈥檚 strategic objectives related to sustainability and sustainable development.
To develop and update action plans for implementing the Sustainable University concept, and to provide recommendations for their implementation and monitoring.
