Thesis abstract (EN)
This master鈥檚 thesis investigates the efficiency of passenger transport administration within the Lithuanian Armed Forces, aiming to propose a systemic solution based on the application of innovative technologies. Drawing on a theoretical literature review, the experiences of NATO countries, and a practical qualitative study involving officers working in the transport sector, a model for improving the efficiency of military transport administration was developed. The model encompasses key functional areas鈥攗ser, order, transport, and report management鈥攁nd is grounded in a centralized, data-driven management principle.
To assess the model鈥檚 practical applicability, an expert appraisal was conducted. The results showed that the proposed solution meets the needs of the Armed Forces, increases process transparency, reduces the risk of human error, and ensures faster response to logistical requirements. The findings confirm that military transport administration processes can be significantly optimized through digital solutions based on real-time data, information traceability, and structured responsibilities. The developed model can serve as a foundation for further digitalization of military logistics, particularly in the field of passenger transport.
The thesis consists of six parts: Introduction; Innovative Technologies in Logistics: Theoretical Background; Evaluation and Improvement Opportunities of Military Logistics Systems; Model for Enhancing the Efficient Functioning of Military Transport Administration and Implementation Guidelines; Conclusions and Recommendations; and References. The thesis includes 59 pages of text, 11 tables, 5 figures, and 59 bibliographic sources.

The final master's thesis examines the possibilities of applying Internet of Things technologies in cold logistics chains in order to improve the monitoring of temperature-controlled cargo and reduce the risks posed by manual temperature control. The thesis analyses the scientific literature on the concept, architecture, components and application of logistics chains and the Internet of Things in temperature-controlled cargo logistics, highlighting the main problems of manual monitoring and the benefits and risks of implementing the Internet of Things. The empirical part applied secondary data analysis from Eurostat and the Lithuanian Department of Statistics to determine the extent of the Internet of Things usage. A quantitative expert survey was conducted to identify the most pressing problems of manual monitoring, the most significant benefits of Internet of Things solutions, and the risks of implementation. Based on the results of the theoretical and empirical analysis, a five-stage decision-making model for the implementation of the Internet of Things in the temperature-controlled freight logistics chain was developed. Conclusions are presented.
The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions, a list of references, and appendices.

In the final thesis, technologies for improving a logistics company鈥檚 transportation processes are analyzed. First, based on scientific literature, the importance of transportation is reviewed, individual transportation processes are distinguished, and the concept of modern technologies is defined in order to determine how a logistics company鈥檚 transportation processes could be improved. Second, a brief introduction of the company 鈥淒IJ Transco Ltd鈥 is presented, the company鈥檚 market position is analyzed, and quantitative and qualitative research is conducted in order to better understand the opinions of customers and an employee working in the company regarding service quality, weaknesses observed in the transportation processes, and the attractiveness of modern technologies for improving these processes. Subsequently, problematic areas were identified: the delivery times, communication, and documentation. In the third part, a transportation process improvement model is developed. The aim of this model is to improve the transportation process by reducing the number of delays through the use of Internet of Things technology, specifically a real-time monitoring tool. The conducted research allows the following conclusions to be drawn: the essence of transportation processes is smooth operation in order to ensure the efficiency of the entire transportation activity, and achieving this requires modern technological solutions; the transportation processes of 鈥淒IJ Transco Ltd鈥 include transport planning, departure and arrival management, the transportation itself, and final activities, while the problematic areas occur within the transportation process itself; the most important area recommended for improvement is the punctuality of cargo deliveries. To achieve this, a transportation process improvement model was created using monitoring technology.

This final thesis examines the development opportunities of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Lithuania. The relevance of the research is driven by the rapid growth of electromobility and the increasing need to establish a reliable, efficient, and environmentally sustainable energy supply network. The aim of the study is to analyse the operating principles of public charging infrastructure, identify key challenges, and propose project-based solutions for optimising the energy supply chain.
The research employs analytical, comparative, statistical, and modelling methods, enabling a comprehensive assessment of the current state of Lithuania鈥檚 charging infrastructure, its development trends, and factors influencing energy efficiency. The supply chain analysis revealed that the main systemic issues arise from network fragmentation, a lack of technological standardisation, and limited data integration among operators and public institutions.
The findings indicate that the improvement of public charging infrastructure should be based on the integration of smart technologies, data analytics, and renewable energy sources. The developed project model proposes a sustainable energy supply chain that enhances energy resilience, reduces CO鈧 emissions, and increases service accessibility across Lithuania.
The thesis consists of an introduction, a review of scientific literature, an analysis of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Lithuania, a project section presenting the energy supply chain model, and conclusions and recommendations.

The bachelor's thesis examines the opportunities for improving the payment card logistics chain in a financial company. The first part of the thesis provides an analysis of scientific literature and articles, discussing the main concepts, operational principles, existing problems, and methods of improvement related to the topic. The second part presents a PEST analysis and an evaluation of the financial indicators of a specific financial company. Furthermore, the payment card logistics chain operating within this financial company is analyzed, and its SWOT analysis is performed. Based on the conducted analyses, the problem is formulated: disruptions in the initial stage of the payment card logistics chain due to a lack of information, leading to an inefficient utilization of supply chain capacity. The third part of the thesis outlines a project plan to resolve the identified problem. For the project, the core of which is to reduce the number of failed payment card orders by integrating a new user interface, an action plan, executors, and resources are specified. After evaluating the economic impact, benefits, and risks, it is determined that the project pays off and generates continuous economic value.

This bachelor thesis analyzes the possibilities for optimizing air freight operations in a logistics company. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the air freight transportation processes of a logistics company, identify problematic areas, and propose operational optimization solutions. The first part of the thesis examines the theoretical aspects of logistics, air transport, and freight transportation, discussing the advantages and disadvantages of air transport, competition with other transport modes, the application of INCOTERMS rules, and legal requirements in air transport activities. The main air freight transportation processes and operational efficiency evaluation aspects are also analyzed. The second part presents an analysis of the logistics company鈥檚 activities, including the organizational structure, financial indicators, clients, partners, competitors, and the identification of the main problems related to air freight processes. PESTEL and SWOT analyses are conducted to evaluate internal and external business factors. The third part of the thesis presents an air freight operations optimization project involving the implementation of digital solutions and process automation. The economic efficiency of the project, investment payback, and expected economic benefits for the company are evaluated. The research revealed that the proposed solutions can reduce operational costs and shipment delays while improving information management and the overall efficiency of logistics processes.
