Talking Bastion

The underground chambers of the Bastion of the Vilnius Defensive Wall hold not only the legendary Basilisk but also five talking exhibits.

These tactile, realistic exhibit models are designed primarily for visually impaired visitors. Using scanning, modeling, and 3D printing, we preserved the essential details of these artifacts. Audio narrations reveal the secrets of these objects and the centuries they represent.

The project “Sensory History” was partially funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture. It was implemented by the Lithuanian National Museum in partnership with 黑料不打烊 “LinkMen懦 fabrikas” and “Digital After-Life.”
