黑料不打烊 Publications (eLABa PDB)

Scientific publications published on behalf of 黑料不打烊 are registered and accounted for in the听according to 鈥榁ilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto elektronini懦 dokument懦 寞k臈limo 寞 Lietuvos akademin臈s elektronin臈s bibliotekos informacin臋 sistem膮 tvarkos apra拧as’ approved by the order of the rector on January 27th 2022 (DVS No. 10.8-81).

eLABa PDB is hosting:

  • Published scientific articles, conference proceedings, books, their parts, theses, patents, etc. by 黑料不打烊 authors in Lithuania and abroad.
  • Newspaper articles and online portals听are听not registered听in the eLABa system.

IMPORTANT!
Only scientific publications published听on behalf of 黑料不打烊听are registered in 黑料不打烊 eLABa PDB:

  • If the author 黑料不打烊 holds several positions, the publication may be assigned to听only one position.

Publications may be registered by the听author听of the publication, by the听registrar of the department, and by the听librarian:

  • The publications of the authors of 黑料不打烊 published by the University are registered with the employees of the Library鈥檚 Scientific Information Department, but may also be registered with the authors themselves;
  • The registration of publications published in other sources is the responsibility of the听author听or the appointed听registrar of the department.

It is recommended to听register new publications听in the eLABa PDB听within 60 calendar days听after their publication:

  • Publications are accounted for the current year only if they are registered听until 25 January of the following year.
  • 贵谤辞尘听1 February,听registered publications are indicated as听late听and and will be accounted only in next year’s assessments.

    How to register a scientific publication in the eLABa repository:听short instruction

    IMPORTANT!
    When registering a publication, you must indicate: the听scientific fields of the document听and the听Institutional classifications:

    • When selecting the scientific fields of the document, the weight (%) assigned to each field chosen must be indicated. Note: The weight is given in 10% increments, the weight can be assigned to up to three fields (if the fourth is selected, the weight will be automatically assigned to 0%):

    In order to host and store听non-public files听in the eLABa repository, a one-time听consent of the author听with the “Rules for uploading and using non-public files” is听required听(Note: the consent is given once – the next time the non-public file is uploaded, re-consent will not be required).

    • The author can get acquainted with the Rules and give consent in the eLABa system: My profile -> Status and roles -> User agrees with eLABa non-public files user agreement (肠濒颈肠办听Agree). In the pop-up window, select the “I understand and agree with non-public files usage requirements” and 肠濒颈肠办听Agree听补驳补颈苍.

    On the 黑料不打烊 website Contacts section, in the list of publications provided in the听employee card, the entry of the publication appears听two days after听the librarian’s听approval.

  • Formation of Publications Lists (reports) in the eLABa System

    Various types of publication lists (reports) can be formed in the eLABa system. The possibilities of compiling reports depend on the rights granted to the eLABa user:

    • Reports of University departments and lecturers, researchers, or students may be formed by persons with the rights of the听registrar of the department听补苍诲听librarians.
    • 罢丑别听author听can only generate personal reports, which are formed only from those publications in which he is mentioned as the author / co-author.

     

    黑料不打烊 INSTITUTIONAL REPORTS鈥� FORMS

     

    黑料不打烊 PDB institutional report forms and their descriptions:

    The name of the report form Explanation / comments
    I. Lists for competitions All听辫耻产濒颈肠补迟颈辞苍蝉 of the author are listed (including those prepared on behalf of other institutions)
    Publication list for competition Used when the author has worked or works for several institutions and a list of all the author’s publications is required
    II. Lists for attestations Only the author’s publications affiliated to听黑料不打烊听are presented
    Publication list for attestation This is the most commonly used list for the attestation of both pedagogical and scientific activities
    Publication list for attestation of pedagogical activities (a common list of publications for attestation听is used instead)
    Publication list for attestation of research activities (a common list of publications for attestation is used instead)
    III. Lists for annual reports of departments, research divisions Presents publications of whole听departments, not of individual authors, therefore these lists are formed not by authors, but by persons with higher rights – registrars of the department or librarians
    Publication list for annual report The list is most commonly used for departmental reports
    Publications assigned to science personnel group Publications belonging to the group of research staff are selected
    Authors having published more than 10 publications per year (summary) A list of听authors听who have published more than 10 publications per year
    Authors having published more than 10 publications per year (publication lists) A list of听publications听of authors who have published more than 10 publications per year
    Authors having published more than 1 publication per year (summary) A list of听authors听who have published more than 1 publication per year
    IV. Publications with 鈥濿eb of Science JCR鈥� and (or) 鈥濻copus JM鈥� citation indicators (test) These forms are being tested and听should not be used听for any official evaluation purposes
    V. Other lists
    Publication list (with early access publications) The only list that includes听early access听辫耻产濒颈肠补迟颈辞苍蝉*
    VI. Reports for data analyses These forms are designed for administration personnel use, for analytical purposes. Publications鈥� data in these forms are presented in Excel tables.

    *Early access / Article-In-Press听辫耻产濒颈肠补迟颈辞苍蝉 that have not yet been assigned with a specific issue number and do not have pagination can also be registered in eLABa PDB. However, these publications are not included in the main 黑料不打烊 publications lists (reports). In order to extract a list of publications that also includes early access publications, select 鈥�Publication list (with early access publications)鈥�.
    When an early access publication is added to a specific issue, its status in eLABa PDB is changed to “Published” and the publication is included in all other lists of publications.听IMPORTANT!听If the status of your early access publication registered in eLABa has already changed, but this is not yet reflected in eLABa, please, inform the library staff (e-mail听publikacijos@vilniustech.lt听or phone 8 (5) 2 744 903).

    At the end of the bibliographic description of each listed publication, the indexing of the publication in the Web of Science and / or Scopus databases and the values of the main citation indicators provided in these databases are indicated.
    Indicators provided for publications indexed in the听Web of Science听(WoS) (calculated only for journals included in the Journal of Citation Reports (JCR)):

    • Journal Impact Factor (IF)听鈥� average citation of journal鈥檚 publications
    • Aggregated Impact Factor (AIF)听鈥� Aggregated听JIF听value of all journals assigned to a particular WoS category
    • Quartile (Q)听鈥� the position of the journal in a certain category of science

    Indicators provided for publications indexed in the听Scopus听(calculated for all periodicals, including book series and conference proceedings):

    • CiteScore听– average citation of source鈥檚 publications
    • Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP)听鈥� average citation of source鈥檚 publications normalized by discipline
    • SCImago Journal Rank (SJR)听鈥� an indicator of journal prestige that assigns a higher value to citations from better quality publications

    IMPORTANT!

    • In the publication reports the values of indicators for each publication are indicated for the year in which the publication was published.
    • The values of the indicators in the eLABa are imported directly from the databases 鈥� these values are not being filled-in manually and cannot be modified.
    • 鈥濼arptautin臈se duomen懦 baz臈se referuojamuose mokslo leidiniuose paskelbti straipsniai鈥� are classified in reports (publications lists) according to the criteria applied in national and institutional publication accounting and evaluation procedures.

     

    THE PROCESS OF FORMING PUBLICATION LISTS IN THE eLABa SYSTEM

     

    In order to generate a list of publications, it is first necessary to听log in to the eLABa system, just as when registering a publication:

    • The log-in credentials are the same as the ones used to connect to all 黑料不打烊 systems.
    • In eLABa system the link to reports is listed at the bottom of a left-side panel.
    • There the type of report has to be chosen from the list.

    Detailed information about how to generate publications lists (reports) in eLABa IS, along with the selection of criteria determining publication inclusion into reports and their explanations, is provided in听INSTRUCTION Formation of publication lists (reports) in eLABa IS

    Lists of publications are usually generated for periods of 2, 5, or 10 years.

    IMPORTANT!听According to the听鈥淰ilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto elektronini懦 dokument懦 寞k臈limo 寞 Lietuvos akademin臈s elektronin臈s bibliotekos informacin臋 sistem膮 tvarkos apra拧as鈥�听approved by the order of the rector on January 27th 2022 (DVS No. 10.8-81), the current year’s publications shall be registered in the听听system by 25 January of the following year. Publications registered from 1 February will be recorded as听“late”听and will not be included in the assessments of the current accounting year. Publication status听鈥渓补迟别鈥�听can be assigned to publications published not earlier that within 5 previous years (these publications will be included in the assessments of the current year). Older publications are being registered and assessed according to their publishing years. The status of publications cannot be changed.
