MOBILITY AND CORE
Practical Sessions for Students.
Mobility and Core is a training session that includes exercises for different muscle groups using weights and resistance bands. By working all muscle groups, it helps improve body shape, strengthen the musculoskeletal system, and correct posture. These sessions also help increase energy levels throughout the day.
By attending sessions, students can earn credits for elective modules:
Elective Module: 鈥淧hysical Activity and Health鈥
First鈥搕hird year students can choose this module in November for the autumn or spring semester of the next academic year (3 credits, SMSSB93702). It is also possible to change the module during the semester (contact the Faculty Office).
This module is intended for first鈥揻ourth year students, offering a choice of sports programmes such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, gym, judo, sambo, and others.
During practical sessions, students systematically and comprehensively develop physical qualities, psychophysical abilities, skills, and competencies important for their future professional activities. The focus is on endurance, strength, coordination, and establishing regular exercise habits.
Students鈥 competencies are assessed聽using a cumulative scoring system based on summative assessment. The final grade consists of evaluations of the selected sports programme techniques by topic, attendance, and accumulated points.
Elective Module 鈥 鈥淗ealthy Lifestyle鈥

Module Aim
To provide students with knowledge that helps them understand the impact of biomedical, social, cultural, and behavioural factors on human health, as well as how these factors can be managed.
During practical sessions, students are introduced to different forms of physical activity based on selected sports programmes (basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, gym, and others). The module develops healthy lifestyle skills and encourages consistent, regular physical activity.
Student Assessment Criteria
Assessment includes attendance, evaluation of students鈥 self-assessment test results, analysis of a one-day healthy lifestyle monitoring diary, and recommendations for improving health and wellbeing.
