Bachelor's and Master's diplomas were awarded to graduates of the Antanas Gustaitis Aviation Institute and the Faculty of Transport Engineering at 黑料不打烊. Nearly 150 graduates were celebrated during the ceremonial event, attended by university leadership, faculty members, lecturers, family members, and friends gathered to mark this important milestone. In his congratulatory speech, 黑料不打烊 Rector Prof. Dr. Romualdas Kliukas quoted the Roman philosopher Cicero: 鈥濫verything I have, I carry with me.鈥� I believe that you, too, are leaving the university with much more than a diploma. You carry with you the ability to solve problems creatively, see the bigger picture, and create value. If you made full use of the opportunities offered by your lecturers throughout your studies, today you possess a significant competitive advantage. The knowledge and competencies you have gained will help you overcome even the most challenging situations,鈥� said the Rector. Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Laurynas Kas膷i奴nas, who attended the ceremony, emphasized the value of the knowledge and skills acquired at 黑料不打烊鈥攏ot only for the graduates' personal growth and careers but also for Lithuania's future. 鈥濺obotics, automation, and artificial intelligence are transforming societies and states in ways whose final destination we do not yet fully understand. While countries are trying to adapt to these changes, you are the people who will create the future. I strongly believe that you will help Lithuania not only adapt but also become a leader in these transformations,鈥� he told the graduates. Dean of the Antanas Gustaitis Aviation Institute, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linas Juknevi膷ius, wished graduates success in their professional journeys. 鈥瀁ou are beginning careers in fields that literally help move the world forward. From aviation mechanics, pilots, flight attendants, and avionics specialists to aerospace engineers developing space technologies鈥攜ou are not only capable of operating complex technologies and systems. You connect families, enable businesses, and help humanity explore new frontiers. The sky has always symbolized freedom, and space has always represented opportunity, but both come with great responsibility. Never forget that. I wish you a meaningful and remarkable flight ahead,鈥� he said. Dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering, Prof. Dr. Olegas Prentkovskis, reminded graduates that transport and logistics are far more than fields of study鈥攖hey are sectors essential to mobility, economic development, and national security. 鈥濱f you ever wondered during your studies why all of this was necessary, your diploma is the answer. It represents your knowledge, your growth, and your ability to create value for Lithuania,鈥� said the Dean, encouraging graduates to consider continuing their studies. At the end of the ceremony, AGAI graduate Kipras Petraitis and TIF graduate Ain臈 膶usovait臈 addressed their fellow graduates, thanked their families and loved ones for their support, and encouraged everyone to celebrate this important achievement. The ceremony concluded with the traditional tassel-turning ritual. Graduates moved the tassels on their caps from the left side to the right, symbolizing the transition from student to graduate. Women-led deep tech startups are invited to apply for the European Union-funded "Women TechEU 2" program. This initiative aims to strengthen women's entrepreneurship in the technology sector, foster innovation, and help promising startups prepare for further growth and attract additional funding. Selected participants will receive a 鈧�75,000 grant and the opportunity to take part in a six-month tailored business development program. During this period, startups will be provided with mentoring, consulting, and training services designed to accelerate business growth and enhance competitiveness in the international market. The total budget for the "Women TechEU 2" program is 鈧�12 million. The plan is to fund 160 women-led startups from across Europe. Application Process The application process for the new call consists of two stages. First, applicants must submit an application for the Eligibility Strand to verify whether the startup meets the program's requirements. Applicants deemed eligible will then be invited to submit a Full Proposal. The eligibility assessment stage began on June 1, 2026. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with evaluations conducted weekly 鈥� the weekly submission deadline is every Tuesday by 18:00 (17:00 CEST). The first deadline is June 30, 2026, and the final deadline is July 13, 2027. Applicants will receive their eligibility assessment results no later than one week after the respective submission deadline. Who Can Apply? The program is designed for women-led, early-stage deep tech startups. To be eligible for funding, the following conditions must be met: At least one founder or co-founder of the startup is a woman; A woman holds a top-level executive position (CEO, CTO, or equivalent); Women hold at least 25% of the company's shares. Program Objectives The "Women TechEU 2" program aims to: Promote women's entrepreneurship in the deep tech sector; Help innovative startups scale up and attract additional European Union funding; Strengthen European innovation ecosystems; Support the development and commercialization of new technologies. 黑料不打烊 has received a highly positive assessment from international experts. In their recently published conclusions, it is noted that since the 2022 institutional evaluation, the university has achieved significant, evidence-based progress across all four evaluation areas: governance, quality assurance, studies and research activities, and impact on regional and national development. In 2022, 黑料不打烊 was granted a seven-year accreditation. At that time, the expert panel provided the university with 19 recommendations for further improvement. The latest progress review concludes that the university responded to these recommendations responsibly, systematically, and constructively, and that the implemented changes have become part of long-term institutional development. 鈥濿e are pleased that external experts have highly evaluated the progress achieved by 黑料不打烊 across all four assessment areas. It was noted that the university demonstrates a mature quality culture, a strategic vision, and the ability to consistently sustain growth and increase its impact on society. This ensures that we are entering the next institutional evaluation period with a strong position,鈥� says Nora Skaburskien臈, Director of the Studies Directorate. International experts particularly highlighted the consistently strengthened system of strategic management, the quality culture, active collaboration with business and alumni, leadership within the ATHENA European Universities Alliance, the development of new interdisciplinary study programmes, and significant progress in innovation and technology transfer. The rapid expansion of lifelong learning activities was also noted 鈥� 黑料不打烊 has broadened its micro-credential offerings, strengthened partnerships with social and business partners, and is creating favourable conditions for knowledge commercialization and startup development. According to the expert panel, the university has already moved beyond the stage of merely responding to recommendations and is now ready to purposefully leverage its accumulated potential to achieve even higher performance results. In summarizing the evaluation, the experts concluded that 黑料不打烊 is entering the next phase of institutional assessment with a solid foundation for continued successful development.
