This bachelor thesis presents the reconstruction project of road No. 141 Kaunas鈥揓urbarkas鈥撆爄lut臈鈥揔laip臈da section from 191.684 km to 195.400 km. During the preparation of the project, an analysis of the existing situation was carried out, including pavement condition, traffic intensity, accident rate, terrain, geological conditions, drainage situation and existing traffic organization solutions.The analysis showed that the existing road infrastructure no longer meets the requirements of safe and comfortable traffic. The project includes strengthening of the pavement structure, reconstruction of driveways and intersections, installation of culverts, installation of safety barriers and optimization of traffic organization solutions. The proposed engineering solutions were selected considering not only regulatory requirements, but also economic and traffic safety indicators in order to reduce unnecessary traffic restrictions and ensure rational traffic organization within the reconstructed road section.Traffic intensity forecasting, hydrological and cost calculations were performed during the design process. A pavement structure suitable for a category III road was selected and the main design parameters were determined. The thesis also analyzes construction technology, work organization, environmental protection and occupational safety solutions.
The thesis consists of 96 pages, 52 figures, 12 tables, 35 references, 6 appendices and 6 drawings. The total estimated project value including VAT is approximately 6.319 million EUR. The appendices include the road plan, longitudinal profile, cross-sections, traffic organization plan, culvert drawing and intersection layout drawings.

In this master鈥檚 thesis, based on the analysis of scientific literature, good practices of foreign municipalities, and expert evaluation results, an information system for Nemen膷in臈 city was developed in a GIS environment. The thesis analyses the importance of GIS technologies in the public sector, the need for spatial data integration, and the principles of presenting information to different user groups. A comparative analysis of GIS application in Nemen膷in臈 and Eker枚 was carried out, together with an expert-based multi-criteria evaluation. The results showed that the most important criteria for a municipal GIS system are data currency and accuracy, data accessibility, system speed and stability, and data security. In the practical part of the thesis, a GIS information system was developed in the SQL Server Spatial environment, with the land parcel selected as the main object of analysis. The system integrates data on land parcels, General Plan solutions, territorial planning documents, 沤PDRIS, engineering infrastructure, public transport, and educational institutions. The created common parcel analysis table enables the automated assessment of parcel-related planning links, infrastructure accessibility, and preliminary development potential. The developed model can be applied in the work of municipal specialists, used for the initial informing of interested parties, and further developed in other settlements.

The master鈥檚 thesis investigates changes in the retroreflective properties of vertical road signs under different operating conditions. The aim is to identify patterns in the retroreflection coefficient RA considering sign age, colour, retroreflective sheeting technology and orientation relative to the sun. The study combines a literature and regulatory review with field measurements on Lithuanian state roads: 145 road signs were examined and 443 RA measurements were performed. The results show that microprismatic sheeting provides higher initial and long-term RA values than glass bead technology, while the critical degradation period usually occurs after 8鈥�10 years of service. The novelty of the work lies in an empirical assessment of technology, colour and orientation effects under Lithuanian conditions. Recommendations are proposed for differentiated RA thresholds, inspection intervals and economically justified selection of sign materials.

The bachelor鈥檚 thesis presents a reconstruction project for the section of Road No. 181 Seirijai鈥揝imnas鈥揑gliauka from 17.26 km to 20.15 km. During the preparation of the thesis, an analysis of the existing situation was carried out: traffic intensity was determined, and the prevailing soils, terrain, and climatic conditions were analysed. The analysis identified locations with defects that make the road unsafe; therefore, the reconstruction of the road section is planned in accordance with the regulatory documents in force in the Republic of Lithuania. During the preparation of the project, new road design solutions were selected and supporting calculations were performed. Based on the determined design traffic intensity, the road category was selected, and according to the heavy traffic intensity, the class of road pavement structures was established. The environmental impact of the road reconstruction, the construction technology, and the preliminary implementation cost of the works are also provided.

This master鈥檚 thesis examines the conversion possibilities of railway stations in smaller Lithuanian cities and their adaptation to contemporary needs. The study analyzes railway station development models, conversion practices, and contemporary development trends in Lithuania and foreign countries. A multi-criteria railway station evaluation methodology was developed to determine the conversion potential of stations by considering urban, economic, social, and mobility-related factors. Three target stations were selected for the research: Radvili拧kis, Kai拧iadorys, and Kazl懦 R奴da railway stations. Using the COPRAS method, each station was evaluated and a priority ranking of alternatives was established to determine their conversion potential.
The research results revealed that the possibilities for station conversion are directly related to the level of urban integration, mobility potential, quality and accessibility of public spaces, and the development of social functions. The methodology developed in this thesis and the research results may be useful for municipalities and railway infrastructure managers when making strategic decisions regarding the revitalization and utilization of station territories and buildings.

The bachelor's thesis presents the reconstruction project of road No. 4606 Tel拧iai 鈥� Lieplauk臈 鈥� Plung臈, section from 0.00 km to 3.60 km. The aim of the work is to prepare the reconstruction project of road No. 4606 Telsiai 鈥� Lieplauke 鈥� Plunge, section from 0.00 km to 3.60 km, in accordance with the laws, normative documents, rules, and recommendations valid in the Republic of Lithuania. During the bachelor's thesis, an analysis of the current situation, traffic intensity, and accident rate was carried out. The road (street) category was determined, the road (street) pavement structure class was selected, and the design solutions for the road (street) as well as for pedestrian and bicycle paths were described. The construction work technology and organization were described, solutions to reduce environmental impact were selected, and cost estimates were performed.
The work consists of 9 parts: introduction, general data, calculations justifying the solutions, technical design solutions and their justification, environmental impact of the project solutions, construction technology and organization.

This bachelor鈥檚 thesis presents a reconstruction project for the section of Ramygalos Street between Nemuno Street and Matininku Street in the city of Panevezys. The objective of the thesis is to develop a reconstruction project for the section of Ramygalos Street from Nemuno Street to Matininku Street in the city of Panevezys that complies with current regulatory technical documents.
During the thesis, field studies of traffic intensity at intersections were conducted, the category of the street to be reconstructed was determined, and the parameters of the street alignment elements were selected, the pavement structure class was calculated, transverse profile types were selected, a surface water collection system was designed, and traffic safety and management measures were designed. Cost estimates were also prepared.
Attached drawings include: street and pavement plan, street longitudinal profile, street cross-sections, street traffic organization plan, street elevation plan, and intersection plan.

This master鈥檚 thesis examines the types of road pavements and the overall distribution of the road network, including unpaved roads, in European Union countries. It analyzes the factors that determine dust levels on gravel roads, as well as measures and technologies for reducing dust.
For the study, district roads with gravel surfaces in the Vilnius district were selected and classified according to traffic intensity. Four types of dust reduction measures were used during the experiment. An economic evaluation was conducted to identify the most effective and optimal measure and to calculate the payback periods for the measures. The benefits of the measures for vehicle operation, human health and noise reduction were also evaluated.
The thesis consists of 4 parts: an introduction, a literature review on the topic of reducing dust on gravel roads, an experimental study on reducing dust on gravel roads, an economic feasibility assessment, an analysis of results and selection of the optimal technology, conclusions, recommendations, a bibliography and appendices.
The thesis consists of 85 pages of text without appendices, 47 illustrations, 27 tables, and 38 bibliographic sources.

The bachelor鈥檚 thesis presents the reconstruction project of the intersection of 艩iauli懦 St., Vytauto St., and A. Povyliaus St. in the city of Radvili拧kis. The aim of the thesis is to prepare an intersection reconstruction project that complies with the applicable technical regulations and standards while improving traffic safety, reducing accident rates, and ensuring more convenient traffic conditions for all road users.
During the preparation of the thesis, an analysis of the existing situation was carried out, including the evaluation of traffic intensity, accident statistics, pavement condition, terrain, and natural conditions. Based on the conducted research and design calculations, a single-lane mini roundabout was selected for the intersection. The project includes the calculation of the pavement structure class, the design of stormwater drainage and drainage systems, the selection of traffic organization measures, and the planning of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure solutions.
The project provides for the reconstruction of the roadway, the installation of a shared pedestrian and bicycle path, a parking area, new horizontal and vertical road markings, directional lighting, and other traffic safety measures. In addition, material quantity calculations and cost estimates were carried out.

Thesis abstract (EN)
The Bachelor鈥檚 thesis addresses the problem of an unmaintained, unsafe and underutilized recreational area located on the Eastern shore of Lake Mastis in the city of Tel拧iai, which is currently not adapted for socially vulnerable groups and individuals with special needs. The total area of the site is 6.03 hectares.
The main aim of this thesis is to prepare a development project for the area by creating a socially inclusive environment that is based on the principles of universal design and promotes the psychophysical health and well-being of its visitors.
To achieve the set aim, a review of relevant legal acts and academic literature was conducted, the current condition of the area was analyzed with conclusions drawn and a survey of the city residents was carried out. Based on the results of this research, redevelopment concepts and detailed design solutions were prepared. During the spatial planning process, the methods of universal design and therapeutic landscapes were purposefully applied.
Following the analysis of the current condition of the area, the project proposes the development of a sensory wellness garden, an energy labyrinth park and a Hope Zone dedicated to emotional well-being. The project also includes the installation of pedestrian and cycling paths, the reconstruction of the existing parking lot and the formation of a cohesive green space network. Additionally, it was decided to stabilize erosion-affected shoreline sections of Lake Mastis, install lighting and video surveillance systems, and address the shortage of urban furniture elements.
